Cassandra Barber's CAPER Data-Driven Research Now Published!
Exciting news! Cassandra Barber’s paper, which utilized extensive CAPER data during her time as a Scholar in Residence for CAPER, has been published! This achievement highlights the significant insights and contributions she made.
Cassandra Barber is a distinguished researcher who has made significant contributions using CAPER data. She is a PhD student working closely with Dr. Saad Chahine and focuses on the distribution of physicians in Canada.

CAPER Guiding Principles Now Available
The Canadian Post-M.D. Education Registry (CAPER) initiative is pleased to announce that the CAPER Committee has developed the following guiding principles for the initiative. Our guiding principles focus on financial stability, collaboration with partner organizations and provinces/territories, alignment with strategic plan deliverables, and the relevance of CAPER and its data holdings.
These principles ensure that CAPER continues to provide valuable insights and support to medical schools, partner organizations, and stakeholders involved in postgraduate training, research, and health human resource planning.
This document provides an overview of CAPER’s mission, vision, and the ethical framework within which the initiative functions, ensuring alignment with its overarching goals and commitments.
