Mr. Geoffrey Barnum is Manager of CAPER, responsible for the management of the Canadian Post-MD Education Registry (CAPER) and a database devoted to international medical graduates. Other responsibilities include analysis, dissemination and product development based on CAPER data; liaison with national medical organizations, government and other stakeholder organizations; general support for AFMC activities and initiatives.

 

Mr. Barnum comes to CAPER from the Better Outcome Registry and Network (BORN) where he worked as the Senior Data Analyst for the Data Analysis and Request Team (DART). Geoff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on the creation of data products and the dissemination of this knowledge to a variety of stakeholders. Prior to his work at BORN Geoff earned a Master’s degree in Psychology from Carleton University and a Bachelor degree in the same field from Trent University.

Leslie Forward

Leslie Forward grew up in Newfoundland And Labrador and attended Memorial University of Newfoundland earning a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Mathematics. Leslie has been employed at CAPER since 1993. His duties include data collection, implementation and programming for the CAPER database. He prepares data tables, charts and graphs for the various CAPER publications as well as for studies, surveys and individual data requests.
